Parents give separate consent for each purpose, such as biometric attendance or photo use, and can withdraw it any time. What is VidyaDarpan?
VidyaDarpan is a 20-module school management ERP. Admissions, fees, attendance, exams, staff payroll, transport, library and parent communication all work from one student record, so nothing is typed twice.
Do parents and teachers need to install an app?
No. VidyaDarpan opens in the browser already on a phone or computer. The office, teachers, parents, accountant and HR each get their own login.
Where is our school's data stored, and how is it protected?
All data and backups are hosted in India. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit, backed up daily, and every change to a fee, mark or record is logged with the user and time.
Can it use our own fee heads and report card format?
Yes. You set your own fee heads and instalments, your grading scheme, and your CCE or CBSE report card layout. VidyaDarpan fits the school; the school does not have to fit the software.
Does it support Hindi as well as English?
Yes. VidyaDarpan works in Hindi and English on the same screen, and scan-to-text reads both scripts.
How do parents get attendance, fee and result updates?
By SMS, email or WhatsApp, sent to the number on the parent's record. An absent mark can alert the parent the same day.
Can we take our data with us if we leave?
Yes. Students, staff, fees and results export to Excel at any time. If you leave, we hand over a complete copy and delete ours on request.
How is VidyaDarpan priced?
